Student ministries from around the region will converge on the community of Moody, Alabama. When they arrive each church will be placed on a team and will compete against the other teams made up of other churches from the area. The competition will consist of a mix of wild games and tasks, a scavenger hunt, and community service.

Serve

Students participating in the event will engage in pre-arranged community projects throughout the area. Whether it be painting or cleaning or assisting, each team will have multiple tasks that fulfill Christ’s mandate that we serve one another.

Compete

Throughout the day and in various locations, students will compete in several challenges to earn points for their team. Some will call for working smart; other challenges will call for maximum team effort; and still others may be more suited to the students who possess pure athleticism. We will also challenge students to find items throughout the day to earn points in a scavenger hunt, with a few surprises thrown in.

One of the tasks assigned to each team will be to promote in the community the culmination--the City Shock rally. There will be points given for each visitor who attends. At the rally we will have crazy games, live music, giveaways and most importantly, a clear gospel message.
